The Surf City Garage Car Show and Shop Tour, in Huntington Beach, was super duper cool! Not only was it a great show that featured hot rods and customs stretched out for blocks around their headquarters, but also the chance to go inside the joint and see their incredibly bitchin collection of cars, gas pumps, signs, and memorabilia. With all the cool stuff on the walls and ceiling, their garage is truly as cool as the cars that are in it. If I die and go to garage heaven, this is what I hope it looks like. The neon alone has got to be worth more than all the BangShift project cars. Awesome doesn’t begin to describe it.
On the streets surrounding Surf City Garage, who’s wares include just about everything you need to detail a car, we got to check out tons of cool cars and trucks. The Orange County Mustang Club is the host club for this event and not only did a great job organizing it and spreading the word, but also came out in force with a group of great looking pony cars.
