(Photos by Ashley Howard) Thanks to Ashley Howard and the gang at the Calgary World of Wheels 2015, we’ve got some cool photos to share from this weekends killer show in the great white north. It’s damn cold all over the place, but that didn’t stop the folks in Canada from bringing the heat with great cars and trucks for the 49th running of this show. In addition, the Calgary World of Wheels 2015 featured a Student Career Day where high school and college kids got to come into the show early and look at the cars, talk to the owners and builders, and see what it takes to have a career building hot rods. Freestyle Motocross was a big draw on Friday as well, but didn’t outshine the guys and gals from the SAITC Polytechnic School in Calgary who were on hand competing in the Engine Building Competition. Sponsored by Zeebs Performance Restoration, the teams of two were pitted against each other building small block Chevrolets and then having to run them for 5 seconds. The winners were the ones who did it the quickest. We love those!

There was a ton of variety on hand as well, and the show really is one of those events that draws people from all around to see truly stunning cars in one of Canada’s premier indoor car shows.

If you live in Canada, or the border states, you need to hit the Calgary World of Wheels next year. Hell, take your car! We know a lot of Canadian Hot Rodders, and can tell you that they are awesome folks. Even if they do talk funny, they have great beer!
