There are a lot of great Goodguys shows across the country each year, and they always have everything from mild to wild, but there is something special about Goodguys Del Mar. Maybe it’s the fact that the beach is so close you can almost feel the salt spray, or maybe it’s just the fact that the weather is usually so picture perfect that anyone with a hot rod within three states is required to attend for fear of losing their hot rodder card. Whatever it is, we LOVE Del Mar. The autocross there is always jam packed with cool iron, the car show is HUGE, and we can’t think of a single vendor worth their salt that isn’t on hand hawking their wares.

Del Mar rules. Face it folks, if you haven’t put this one on your list of must attend events, then you are missing out. Beautiful beach community, cool downtown full of restaurants and bars of all types, and scenery like none other. Come for the show, stay for vacation. Just a thought.
