Chryslers At Carlisle 2014: A Random Collection Of Cool, Rare, And Weird Cars

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – We have been giving you some specific galleries from the Chryslers At Carlisle 2014 show but now we’re going to unleash the Mopar kraken and give you the full frontal blast of cool stuff, weird stuff, foreign stuff, and rare stuff. Don’t be alarmed. The “foreign stuff” we mentioned is actually an Aussie Valiant Charger with the legendary “Hemi 6” power plant in it. We don’t know how it got here but it was at the show and Joe was drawn to the Panther Pink paint like a moth to a bug light.

Because the Chrysler faithful are such a dedicated lot, they have really latched onto the idea of saving everything. GM people won’t pee on some of their old models if they are burning on the side of the road, but in this gallery you’ll see some plain Jane cars that are really cool but not exactly worth much of anything. In a way, we’re happiest to see cars like that saved rather than destroyed or left to rot in a wrecking yard. We love the hot stuff, but the yeoman of the production line need love as well. Clearly that message is not lots on these men and women. You’ll love these photos.
