Cool Stuff Gallery: The 2016 AACA Fall Hershey Meet – Classics, Wagons, More

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Yesterday we showed you some awesome photos from Carlisle, Pennsylvania and the big swap meet that is hosted there every year and today we’re saying in the Keystone State to bring you photos from the 2016 AACA Fall Hershey Meet. This show and swap meet has been going on since 1955 which is completely insane if you ask us.

This is less a hot rod show than it is a gathering of people who love classic cars that are restored and keeping the history of the American automobile alive. From 1970s station wagons to stuff with wooden wheels, this is a car guy’s event for sure. How big is this thing? There are about 9,000 swap meet spaces, 1,000 car corral spots, and 1,500-2,000 cars there for the show. We told you it was huge!

Joe Grippo hit the event a couple of weeks back and sent us a great collection of images that really capture and essence and scope of the event The irony of this event is that the older the cars get, the bigger the show grows!
