(Photos by Zane McNary) – Here’s more of Zane’s great work from the 2013 March Meet that does not include any crashing Anglias. Instead, this gallery is full of wheels up, burnout, and launch shots from the famed starting line at Famoso Raceway in Bakersfield where the March Meet was run for the 55th time last weekend. One of the best parts of the event is the sheer diversity of equipment on the grounds. Hell, look at the photos below of the competiton coupe and the little Nash Metro and tell us that doesn’t kick all ass!

Must of had a mopar hater taking the photos !
Might not have got any door slammers but I think the Rat Patrol altered is running a big block dodge. I saw at least one front engine with a Hemi. Pretty sure all the funny cars are running Hemi engines as well.

Mopar is number one in my book, just didn’t see any when I was out shooting. Heck my first car had a Mopar 360ci in it. Sorry I didn’t get any shot of them out there 🙂
