The official sign that Spring has arrived in the Northeast happens when racing starts, well that weekend finally arrived and a few BangShift forum members decided to celebrate by getting together and beating on their junk! The cadre of BangShifters assembled at West Lebanon New York and the famed Lebanon Valley Dragway. This track has been in operation for decades and was the place where Shirley Muldowney cut her teeth becoming drag race royalty. 

As you’ll see in the photos, opening day at the strip brings out cars of all shape and variety. Our members were racing door slammers. A 1956 Ford, a vintage Falcon, a drop top Firebird, and a four eyed Mustang that normally spends time on the autocross course. Everyone had a great time, they took a bunch of photos and got their stuff sorted out here in the early Spring.
