Record numbers of participants and spectators filled the Iowa State Fairgrounds for this weekend’s GoodGuys Heartland Nationals in Des Moines Iowa, and we’ve got photos to prove it. Perfect weather and a holiday weekend together made for a great family weekend enjoyed by all. Compared to most GoodGuys venues, the Iowa State Fairgrounds are huge, and laid out in a way that promotes cruising and fun. It’s amazing how many people set up their own lounge areas and hang out all weekend too.

Announcing the GoodGuys Street Challenge Autocross was also a great time this weekend. Our boys from Ridetech were on hand driving the wheels off their project ’62 Impala, as were Street Challenge Autocross veteran’s Chris and Linda Jacobs, Brad Coomer, and Jasen Childress. Autocross highlights included a couple of killer vans, street rods, and some great donut action from Jason Childress. You can check it all out in the photo gallery link below.
