Event Coverage: The Knott’s Berry Farm 27th Annual Fabulous Fords Forever Car Show

It’s “The Most Gigantic Car Show Ever” according the gang at Knott’s who’s Western Region Ford Motor Company Car Clubs event includes 52 classes and over 1600 cars. We hit the show for the first time this year and couldn’t believe the number of cars and classes at this show. Not only is it cool because it is at Knott’s Berry Farm, but also because all the cars are grouped in classes so it’s super organized and there is TONS to see. And if you just want to come in and walk around and check it out, it’s free. That’s right, FREE to walk in and spectate. At only $35 to enter your car, this is a must attend show if you are a Ford guy, and we have almost 400 photos of some of the coolest Fords from 1903 to 2012 that were in attendance. With it being the 45th Anniversary of the Cougar, the 50th of the Cobra, and 80th of the Flat Head Ford V8, there was plenty of celebration going on.

Coming off Saturday’s 50th Anniversary Ford Cobra Shelby Reunion Show, at the NHRA Wally Parks Motorsports Museum, this was one heavy hitting Ford weekend in SoCal.

I don’t own a Ford, but I definitely recommend this show. It’s absolutely massive. Whatever model you’re into, this show has it.

Hey, really great coverage although you managed to miss outstanding full size Fords, like a 1964 Holman Moody stock car body on a lengthened 1997 Sprint Cup chassis.
-an original 65 post Custom with a 390 and 3-speed column shifted manual
-a 62 Mercury Monterey Colony Park station wagon, that not only oozed patina but was powered by a Modular 4V with a carburetor induction and it had disc brakes.
-and all the Crown Victoria Police Interceptors, including the supercharged ones.
    – original 66 7 Litre
    -62 Galaxie 500 with a 390 401hp engine.
Oh, and I did I mention the Lotus Cortina?
