(Photos by Elana Scherr) – Hotchkis makes great handling parts for all kinds of classic and modern muscle cars and every year they host some fun events at their California HQ. They’ve been hosting a Mopar open house day for several years now and the tradition continued last weekend. It is a day where people can tour the shop, get some food, talk Mopar to one another (a language that is similar to Klingon), and show off their cars. John Hotchkis and his staff were on hand all day to answer suspension questions and lend advice to any of the attendees who were wondering about how to improve the driving experience in their cars.

To us, the coolest thing that gearheads can do is to see the actual places where their parts are born, especially with a company like Hotchkis that builds their components right here in the USA. We always hear about how “nothing” is made in this country any more and companies like Hotchkis turn that statement right on its head. Having the opportunity to see where it all happens and here about it from the people who are making it happen is neat.
