Gallery: Bitchin’ Early Broncos From The 2013 Fabulous Fords Forvever Show!

Early Ford Broncos are iconic for all the right reasons. The trucks were relatively inexpensive at the time they debuted, they were built like anvils, had a nice short wheelbase for capable off roading and then became so popular a huge aftermarket blossomed behind them as they aged. The design is so simplistic and clean it brings tears of joy to our eyes and the fact that we have a gallery featuring dozens of them is even better! This gallery is also proof that a whole lot more than the Mustang crowd supports this long running and huge car show every year at Knott’s Berry Farm. The other great thing about the trucks in this gallery is that they are not a bunch of dumb ass bling mobiles that won’t get any further off road than the occasional (and accidental) trip over a driveway flowerbed. Judging by some of the wear, patina, and equipment on these trucks, they are out crawling rocks and bashing sand dunes every weekend. That’s doing it right!

A college neighbor of ours had a first generation Bronco with a huge lift, rattle can green paint job, and 38″ Swampers on it. The 302 had a snotty cam and some other speed parts, the exhaust was by no means legal, and the dude blasted mud holes and swamps every weekend with that truck. This gallery brought back lots of good memories!
