(Photos by Charles Wickam) – While Dave Nutting and I shot 400 miles south last weekend to cover an event for BangShift, Charles Wickam rolled out of bed and went a couple of miles right in his town to cover this one. This show is put on by the Space City Cruisers car club and had more than 40 classes for both cars and motorcycles. A great variety of cars, trucks, and bikes showed up to take part in the event and Charles sent us more than 100 photos documenting his day.
There are some really awesome bobbed Harleys in there, a couple of killer VWs, and lots of iron we’d literally cruise the wheels off of. There was also a swap meet where wallet drain was in full effect on cool old parts. Car show season is really hauling along in Texas while the temps are still sub-nuclear. Once the summer hit, sidewalk egg-frying becomes a spectator sport.
