The Hot Heads Car Club Charity Car Show – Lots Of Cool Pre-1972 Iron On Display From Rats To Resto Muscle

(Photos by Johnny Gaudette) – Being that it is smack-dab in the middle of June, car season is in full swing and schools are getting ready to lock down for the summer, sending throngs of kids out into the world. BangShift contributor Johnny Gaudette is one of those kids and since his summer break is kicking off, he’ll be hitting a bunch of shows and events in his trusty Plymouth to cover for BangShift. On Father’s Day he grabbed his pop and headed for the Hot Heads Car Club Charity Car Show which was held in Oxford, Massachusetts. The event was open to pre-1972 cars and motorcycles.

The club gave out awards in multiple classes and from the looks of Johnny’s photos the turnout was great. The show was raising money for diabetes research and it is always a good thing when a club throws and event and hands a check to a worthy cause. That’s one of the great things about this car stuff and that’s the fact that it can be used to do a lot of good in the world.

Some stuff to look for in this gallery is the wildly painted Chevelle, the first generation hemi powered pickup truck, and the stack injected Comet. OK, the Power Wagon is a flipping looker as well, right? Congrats to Johnny of bulldozing through another year of high school and we hope he has a great summer filled with cars, fun, and plenty of BangShifty photos.
