Another exciting day or racing, thrashing, and cruising during Hot Rod Drag Week 2010 presented by Gear Vendors Under/Overdrive is documented in this gallery from our man on the scene Chad Reynolds. Competitors have begun to ramp up their efforts on the strip with Larry Larson running 7.01 to lead the day.
It was only a few years ago that his final day 8.30 lap at US131 Dragway was considered totally insane, now that number wouldn’t even get you a sniff of the lead! Jeff Lutz ran down in the 7.20s at over 200mph in his awesome 1957 Chevy, which is the quickest and fastest he has been all week.
