(Photos by Charles Wickam) – Charles Wickam has been attending and shooting the Kemah, Texas Cruise for years now and we have always enjoyed looking at all the cool cars and trucks thats show up. This event is right around the corner from Charles’s house and the dude has to be living in one of the great “cool car” hotbeds in the country because it seems like this cruise draws fresh cars each time it happens and we’re not just talking about nice Chevelles and restored Mustangs. No way, this event draws out some of the neatest custom built stuff we see from anywhere in the country and it is held in the humble surroundings of a Home Depot parking lot! That says a lot about the fact that events like this are not about the where but they are about the who and the what. Who is showing up and what are they driving!

Anyway, this is yet another awesome Charles dispatch from the Kemah, Texas Cruise and we hope that they keep coming for a good long time. Also, we dig the fact that Charles does such a nice job shooting this thing at night. There’s something about seeing these cars under the lights that really takes you right to the event and makes you feel like you’re standing right next to Wickam as he blasts these photos. We wouldn’t kick any of the cars in this collection of photos out of bed, especially this little Datsun below. HAWT!
