The NHRA Full Throttle Drag Racing Series is in full swing here in sunny Southern California as the NHRA O’Reilly Auto Parts Winternationals season opener got under way in Pomona. We talked to many of the drivers in both classes today and in general everyone seemed to be running as quick or quicker than they expected. Lots of new combos are being run, and several drivers told us that they had just finished buttoning up their cars after dyno time over the winter. There are no shortage of cool cars, and whether you like Mopars, Fords, Chevrolets, or “others”, you will find it here. We’ve even got some really cool bugs running out here this weekend.
