(Photos by Jose Ferrer) – The 2014 Hot Rod Magazine Power Tour has been described by most who were on it as the biggest automotive gathering that they ever attended. Whether it was one day or the whole week, Power Tour participants got the show of a lifetime and it was largely provided by their fellow enthusiasts who descended on small towns and cool places across the center of America like locusts! in typical fashion, gas stations were drained, main streets were filled with cars and people, burnouts were done, and fun was had by all…even the people who broke stuff like our own photo contributor Jose Ferrer who took the photos in this gallery. Jose and his posse cruised from their homes in NY and encountered transmission issues which they were able to remedy and pick the tour back up again. Part of the “hidden story” of the Power Tour is how many hot rodders have to wrench or otherwise repair themselves out of a jam on the trip. It is all part of the experience, right?

We know that TONS of BangShifters were on the Power Tour in 2014 and we’re going to do our damnedest to actually be out there ourselves next year. We can’t keep allowing you people to have all the fun! Jose submitted several hundred photos and we’re going to bust them up into easy to digest portions for you this week.
