On the first Wednesday of every month Prolong Super Lubricants hosts a Twlight Cruise at the NHRA Wally Parks Motorsports Museum. These events have been going on for years and they have becomes a staple part of the vibrant cruising scene in SoCal. We were there last evening and blasted a bunch of photos of the cool stuff that rolled into the parking lot. The one thing we always marvel at is the fact that there is so much “fresh blood” at each and every one of these things. It isn’t the same old cars over and over again. Nope, each time we catch something interesting and cool that we didn’t see before.

In this gallery there are some classic hot rods that just personify what the scene was in Southern California during the “golden age” of the hobby we all know and love so much as well as some modern romper stompers that would grind those old pieces into dust on the race track or even in the canyons. The melting pot mentality is definitely alive and well in SoCal as it is across the country. The more car guys hang out together the stronger we get. Prolong knows that and it is why they continue to support these events that have become one of the “must attend” deals in the LA area and that place is teeming with stuff to do!
