The Putnam, Connecticut Downtown Super Cruise 2014: Photo Coverage Of The Coolest Stuff On The Street

The Putnam, Connecticut Downtown Super Cruise 2014: Photo Coverage Of The Coolest Stuff On The Street

(Photos by Ryan Severance) – When BangShifter Ryan Severance shot me a note and asked if I’d be interesting in sharing some photos from a cool show he was at recently, I jumped at the chance. Any time we can show you photos and coverage from an event we have never peeked at before it is always cool because I know that there will be stuff there I have never seen before and that’s part of the fun of this whole hot rodding thing, seeing new stuff! Ryan has a bitchin’ Mopar wagon that he cruised to the show and he did a really nice job blasting these photos of the event. There’s lots of diversity here and plenty of stuff that’ll make you drool.

As I said during our coverage of the Kearney, Nebraska cruise event that was held on the city streets, there’s not many things better than a city and a group of clubs working together to put on a fun show. This one has been going on for nearly a decade now and shows no signs of slowing down! We have two galleries to run from the event and this is the first one. I dig this because it shows off some sweet New England hot rods and I am a total homer so whenever we get to show those west coast and mid western guys what we’re about up here I love it!

Nice to see some photos I shot up on a site I read everyday!
    The Cruise was a blast!

    Thanks for posting them, Brian!

To anyone curious, my 69 Satellite wagon is pictured behind my grandfather’s 66 Nova in the 6th picture.

Being CT, I’m surprised most of this stuff made it there unscathed. Some of the worst drivers I’ve ever encountered live there. Cool photos though!
