Quick Gallery: Vintage Tractors on Display in Alabama

Here’s a quick little gallery of about 30 photos submitted by BangShift member Charles Schryver from the Baldwin County Strawberry Festival, held in Loxley, Alabama. A local antique tractor club had a bunch of vintage iron on hand at the event and Charles knew that we have a very soft spot for tractors here in the executive offices of Bangshift.com.

Lots of people don’t get the tractor thing and we can respect that. We see them like cars. They all have their own styling quirks and differences, engines are varied, they can be configured in many different ways, and frankly, they are the machines that helped to and continue to help feed the world. Large farms would not exist without tractors and these vintage pieces are the evolutionary steps that have led to today’s sophisticated farming equipment.

Hit the link below to see the mechanical draft horses of America’s past all shined up and wearing their Sunday best!

Thanks to Charles for the great photos!
