This hit parade of photos from the 2014 Goodguys Del Mar show continues today with a gallery containing some really interesting freak cars. Not all of them are freaks but there are two jumping out at us like crazy and they’re both Hemi powered. The first is the car you see above in the lead photo. It is a rat rod and it has some elements that make us wince a little but over all it looks like it is ready to rip someone’s face off and if that motor makes half the power we think it does, we bet it’ll smoke the rear tires for days on end.

The second car is the one below and there are more photos of each of these machines in the gallery the gorgeous 1955 Chevy has flawless looking paint, an interior that we couldn’t get near for fear of wrecking it and it is powered by a Chrysler hemi. This car is a jaw dropper not just for the engine placement but for the fit and finish of the whole thing. Has this car been featured anywhere? It seems like it should be if it has not been. Anyone know who owns it? We want to track the owner down and do a work up on it here at BS!
