Rodders Journal Revival 2014: 1932/1933/1934 Ford – Our Second And Final Blast Of These Iconic Henrys

Rodders Journal Revival 2014: 1932/1933/1934 Ford – Our Second And Final Blast Of These Iconic Henrys

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – Yesterday we smashed you in your eye holes with a great gallery of vintage Fords from the Rodders Journal Revival 2014 at Pimlico race track as shot by Joe Grippo. Well, as it turns out there were so many classic Fords there that we busted that grouping in half and have another one right here for you today. There may be a couple of “easter eggs” in this gallery as well. See if you can spot any cars that fall outside our 32/33/34 title and you’ll win our undying admiration and respect forever….or until the end of the day. Either way you’ll come out ahead. Depending your preference on build style, these cars may hit you right between the eyes or maybe you like them differently, as we discussed yesterday, there are a million ways guys have gone since the dawn of hot rodding time when the deuce and its younger brethren came to be.

Since you didn’t ask, I’ll volunteer that the majority of these cars are built in the style that I would follow given the time, money, and inclination. I like the looks of a “classic” hot rod probably more than anything else. I waffle on how much chop is enough, whether or not it should have fenders, and how it should sit but I can say without fear of contradicting myself that I wouldn’t kick any of the sweet looking iron in this gallery out of bed if any of ’em rolled into the driveway at the Lohnes manse. That’s for certain!

Thanks for the photos Joe….we’ll be back with more tomorrow of a whole new style of car!

What a great group of Fords. Shame more aren’t FoMoCo powered, but all are very well done. The shade of blue on the Cadillac powered deuce is incredible. Joe, great shots!
