We showed you a lot of cool stuff from the 2014 Beachcruiser Car Show at Huntington Beach, California but this gallery contains the coolest of the cool. This is like a vault of awesome right here, kids. This is a gallery of woody wagons and ONLY woody wagons from the show. There were like 90 of them at this event! It makes sense though. What’s a more iconic California beach car than a woody? Ironically the things had little to no value by the time the surfers got hold of them and used the wagons to haul their boards to the surf with. Today, these are some of the most prized cars that collectors and hot rodders want to get their hands on.
This collection of woody wagons is fantastic because there are tons of different brands shown and about as many styles. What do we mean? Well, as shown below you will see woody hot rods and woodies that have been restored. The big Olds is a perfect example of the quality of restorations we are seeing on the road and on the auction block today and the little Morris is the other end of the size spectrum but a woody nonetheless.
