Florida Man Crashes His Mustang Into a Neighboring House…For the Second Time

Florida Man Crashes His Mustang Into a Neighboring House…For the Second Time

83 year-old Bob Johnson was on the other side of his house when he felt a quake, heard some items fall down and wondered what the heck had just happened. The WWII vet shrugged it off and went back to his business until a neighbor came up and pointed out the fact that there was a late model Ford Mustang parked partially inside of his house. Imagine Mr. Johnson’s reaction when he realized that the driver of the Mustang, one Joel Rhodes, a 30-year old man who is a neighbor of Johnson’s was the same guy who missed the same turn and crashed a car into the culvert on the property last year.

If you look at the photos below it seems to us that Mr. Rhodes was out of it at the time of the incident because he made it all the way across the lawn without touching the brake pedal one time. There is not so much as a mark on the turf, which may lessen the anger level of Mr Johnson, because we all know how old guys are about their grass.  According to Mr Johnson, the driver of the car Rhodes had a “huffing” problem in the past. Perhaps it isn’t so far in the past.

It is pretty amazing to drive off the road and crash up your neighbor’s property once, let alone twice, the second time destroying his kitchen and doing severe structural damage to the house. If Mr Johnson were about 20 years younger, the cops would probably have been acting to save Rhodes’s life when the arrived on the scene!

Scroll down to see several photos of the mess…and the perfectly manicured lawn.
