(Photos from the BangShift Archive) – Unless you live in the far western states or the southern ones, you’re probably freezing various parts of your body off, considering what family member to eat if you run out of food, and longing for the days where you can drive your hot rod, go to shows, and becomes a delinquent car loving flunkie again. We’re in that boat with you at this very moment. Because of that, we went into the vast BangShift photo archive and dug out 21 cool photos of engines that you will dig. From full race Buick straight eights to Max Wedge sexiness, we’ve got something for everyone in here. We tried to minimized the small block Chevy damage and we think we did a pretty good job of that.

These photos were taken anywhere between 2009 and 2011 as I was randomly selecting galleries and scanning them for cool engine photos in a scientific fashion that I like to call “willy nilly”. You’ll see images from the drag races, Bonneville, various shows, and a few cruises. After spending some time outside today we wish we could put our hands next to the screen and warm them up on the headers!
