Gallery: Rolling Bones Hot Rod Shop Garage Night 2013 – Awesome Rods, Engines, And More!

(Photos by Joe Grippo) – The recently wedded Joe Grippo attended an open garage night at the famed Rolling Bones hot rod shop where he hung out with a bunch of people and blasted a ton of photos capturing images of shop projects, some of the cool stuff they have in the building, and the general bad-assery that the dudes at Rolling Bones turn out. The shop has come to be known for building great looking and driving hot rods that retain a traditional flavor and are of very high quality. They’ve cruised from their NY shop to the SEMA show, Bonneville, and elsewhere across this great land far and wide in their hot rods and that’s the way it should be. As you know, we’re all about driving cars here, not just polishing them and watching ’em spin on a turntable at a show somewhere.

The event was very well attended and Joe got some fantastic photos. It is really amazing what guys like Rolling Bones can do with the simple shapes of a 1932 Ford. They can make wholesale changes to the look of the car but do them in such a nice way that they aren’t jarring and are visually pleasing to gearheads like us.

Dig the twin plug flathead engine, the rolling chassis that it sits in and the myriad of other cool cars the shop has under construction!

Thanks to Joe for the photos and congrats on the wedding ya big lug!
