If You’re Looking For An Oil Pan For Your Project, Moroso Performance Products Had New Models On Display At SEMA 2016!

SEMA may be full of flashy rides, loud music and booth babes, but the real reason for the show even existing in the first place was to bring the automotive aftermarket together to showcase new parts that they were bringing out, from the wildest pieces to the most basic necessity that the customer could possibly need…like the oil pan. It’s not glamorous, it’s not often seen, but there is a lot more to a good oil pan than just a place for the engine oil to collect for the oil pump. If you’re serious about performance and you genuinely want your engine to survive for a good, long while, a good oil pan is a necessity, and thought must be put into what it should do for your application. Whether you need baffles to keep the pump from starving during hard cornering or you need a sump deep enough to provide enough oil capacity without sacrificing ground clearance, Moroso Performance Products can provide you with the unit you need to complete your engine. Check out the new products they had on display below:

First up is this baffled pan for the Mitsubishi Evolution series. It will work on EVO 7, 8 and 9 generations, and is meant for road-racing applications.

Next up is another baffled pan, this time a small-block Chevrolet unit meant for engines with the 2-piece rear main seal.

If you’re starting to mess around with the latest generation of General Motors LT- engines, here’s a serious bit of kit for you: a rear-sump pan with an integral pick-up and a windage tray.

And if you’re one of many who are swapping GM LS-engines into…well, just about everything under the sun, it seems…Moroso offers this rear-sump pan with a trap-door baffle that is meant for street or strip use.
