There’s wreckage and then there’s wreckage. The driver who piloted this thing that used to be a Fox-bodied Mustang was ok, but the car looks like someone pushed it out a cargo plane at 30,000 feet onto Mount Everest, and let it plinko all the way to the bottom. Posted onto our forum section by user Scrapmetal71, the car was involved in a high speed top end crash. Things must have been happening really quick as the driver didn’t even pull the ‘chute before impact. 

As you look through the photos pay close attention to any shot on the passenger side of the car. One of the main bars of the roll cage snapped off right at the weld connecting it to the main hoop. To our untrained eye, it looks like the weld got no penetration into the tube on top. Essentially, it was just “glued on” and broke right off. 

If that bar had snapped off on the driver’s side, we may not be talking about a non-fatal wreck.
