Man Who Drove A Bugatti Into A Salt Marsh Pleads Guilty to Fraud, Facing 20 Years

The pelican has officially been cleared of any and all wrongdoing. Andy House, the dumbass man who intentionally drove his 2006 Bugatti Veyron into a salt marsh in Texas plead guilty to wire mail fraud in a federal court on Tuesday, August 26, 2014. House is now facing 20 years of prison time.

The story is so oddball that it’s comical. House purchased the Veyron in 2009 and insured it for $2.2 million dollars, or roughly twice what the car was worth brand new. On November 11, 2009, he drove the Bugatti into the water near La Marque, Texas and left the car in the water with the motor running (according to unofficial statements, the car ran for at least fifteen minutes underwater.) He initially told officials that he was distracted by a low-flying pelican. However, when a YouTube video surfaced showing the car being driven into the water with no bird in sight, House recanted and told investigators that he had dropped his cell phone onto the floor and became distracted looking for it. Later on in the investigation, House tried to bribe people into stealing the car and torching it for the insurance money.

We’re sorry we doubted you, little buddy.

Maybe while in prison he could glue balsa wood blocks together and carve (with a dull knife) a new one. That could take 20yrs. DUMBASS!!

Andy House the man dumbass that drove his Bugatti in the marsh is getting just what he deserves. Not because he was trying to rip off a thieving insurance company. But for driving a car like that into the water.

He won’t get 20 years, or anything like that. The other schemes to get rid of the car, and then rip off the insurance company, will wind up increasing his sentence from the probation he probably would have gotten, but this guy will be driving into lakes before long.
