Everyone loves finishing a job and admiring a clean install job. You know what we are talking about, especially if we’re referencing wiring, fuel lines, brake lines, or any other work that requires a little more effort to go the extra mile. Edelbrock has just introduced a nice clean single feed fuel inline line kit for their Performer and Thunder Series AVS carbs that will have you looking all slick under the hood for short money.
This is a great look as you will see in the photos below because by using a big banjo fitting and routing the line straight down the side of the cab before turning it forward, it keeps things tucked in and looking clean. You can the kit with either a barbed end for a push on style install or a -6 AN male inlet that you can use in conjunction with an Edelbrock fuel pump to carb plumbing kit for a complete solution. You make the call!
This is good stuff and frankly it is way cheaper than you’d spend gathering the fittings, line and all the rest and actually forming it. With this setup your carb install will look totally professional and you’ll have lots of pride pulling the hood open at shows and cruise nights.
| Torrance, CA – {March 18, 2015} Edelbrock has expanded their popular line of single feed fuel inlet kits for their Performer Series and Thunder Series AVS carburetors to include a new black finish. Edelbrock single feed fuel inlets provide a clean and custom plumbing solution for Edelbrock Performer Series and Thunder Series AVS carburetors. They feature a drop-down design that routes the fuel line on the right-hand (passenger side) of the carburetor below the linkage and choke housing. They are available in two configurations; (#81263) includes a barbed end for a push-on 3/8″ rubber fuel line, (#81343) includes an aluminum fuel filter with a 40 micron filter element and -6 AN male inlet that will accept an Edelbrock fuel line kit for a complete fuel pump to carburetor plumbing solution. Replacement fuel filter (#650133) is sold separately for use with (#81343). Both are manufactured from high-quality steel and feature a 5/8″ -20 threaded banjo bolt with gaskets. The high gloss black finish matched great with all Edelbrock black powder coated carburetors, intake manifolds, valve covers and air cleaners. |
