Cool New Stuff! Check Out The AutoMeter AirDrive Wireless OBDII Gauges

If this is not the easiest gauge install video you have ever seen we’ll ask you to point us in the direction of that video. What we have here are the AutoMeter AirDrive Wireless OBDII gauges now offered by the company in Sycamore, Illinois. They use a wireless module inserted into the OBDII port that then broadcasts the requested information to the gauge pod that you mount in your car. For the purposed of this video a Ford Taurus SHO was used and Joseph Mills of AutoMeter walks us through the install and setup procedure for the product. These things look awesome and extremely handy for anyone with a late model car that wants to add gauges.

Why would you want to add gauges to your late model car? The SHO is a perfect example. The thing has a twin turbo EcoBoost V6 in it and there’s not boost gauge! This gauge pod that is shown in the video has a boost gauge and during testing on a “closed course with a professional driver” you can clearly see it reading and active as Joe mashes the throttle on the Ford.

If your late model hot rod is missing some of the gauges you’d like to see these AirDrive Wireless OBDII gauges could be the easiest and least painful way to upgrade your instrumentation. Check them out below.

The wire is just for power and ground to the gauges. We actually plugged it into the cigarette lighter on the SHO.
