So this week BangShift will be dropping knowledge on all sorts of new parts, components, and products from aftermarket companies across the board as we’re attending an annual event that centers on getting up close and personal with cool new stuff. In this case we’re leading off with a new one from our friends at American Powertrain. They have developed this new fiberglass replacement transmission hump for 1968-72 C10 trucks.

Factory humps are near impossible to find and depending on how you are building your truck they can also transmission clearance can also be an issue with the factory steel humps. This fiberglass piece offers more room for fitment and it is also a cleaner install option as the factory hole that normally has to be blocked was not incorporated with this design so there will only be a hole where you place it for your shifter to fit through.

So there you have it. The first cool new thing we saw this week is the American Powertrain 1968-72 C10 Transmission Hump!
