Now The Hog You Ride Can Smell Like The Tastier Part Of The Hog You Eat: Bacon-Powered Motorcycle

Now The Hog You Ride Can Smell Like The Tastier Part Of The Hog You Eat: Bacon-Powered Motorcycle

There are many smells that come from a typical motorcycle: oil, chain lube, exhaust. Let’s not talk about the biker themselves. What could possibly make a motorcycle run better and smell better? BACON.

No, seriously, I mean it. Hormel, the company well known for selling the tastier parts of the pig at your local grocery store, has a bike that is touring the country right now that runs bacon grease. The motorcycle itself, an EVA Track800 CDI, is from The Netherlands and is, in it’s original form, powered by the European Smart Fortwo’s three-cylinder diesel engine, putting up an impressive 112mpg. CSE Engineering performed the modifications required for the fuel conversion, and are following the bike across the country as they head towards the International Bacon Film Festival.

Seriously, that’s an actual thing?

Ha Ha …… ! So now your HOG really can be a Hog … both in smell as well as looks .. along with an awful lot of the people riding them . The irony of it all 😉

FYI;To all the incoming detractors … sorry gents .. but I’ve had Harley Davidson’s in my family since 1926 … which gives me the right to cut a joke now and again about both the Motor Company as well as the vast majority of overweight people that ride them …..
