BangShift Project Files: A Denali, A C3 Corvette, And A Second Chance At Building A Hot Stingray!

BangShift forum member SuperBuickGuy is one of those people who always has a ton of projects going on in his shop. The man swings from build to build like George of the Jungle swings from vine to vine, and documents the whole process, good, bad and otherwise, in great detail. What we do know about SBG is that he doesn’t normally do the same car twice, but there are exceptions to the rule: he likes his square-body Chevy trucks and SUVs and apparently he likes his C3 Corvettes. In 2015 he sold off a 1975 that he had built up into a neat little corner-carver in order to facilitate some progress elsewhere in the shop, but he mentioned that he would revisit a Corvette build sooner or later. And a couple of days ago, he made good on that promise:

Right now it’s a bit early in the thread to see much more than some planning and what SBG actually dragged back to his shop deep in Sasquatch Country, but this is a thread that you should keep your eye on if you like technical detail and creativity, both of which SBG has an eye for. What are the plans for the Corvette? In short, running and driving is first on the list, since the blown small-block that it did have wasn’t included in the deal, and then it’s pretty much assured that fixing known C3 issues and a lot of suspension work will come into play as things progress. The 1975 was a pretty healthy corner-carver when it was sent on it’s way…we can’t wait to see where this one ends up.
