Project Update: Ridetech’s Factory Five ’33 is Looking Bad Ass!

Project Update: Ridetech’s Factory Five ’33 is Looking Bad Ass!

We’ve been keeping tabs on Ridetech’s killer Factory Five ’33 build for some time now. The car is really coming along nicely and we think this one may be the ultimate example of what can be done with Factory Five’s bitchin’ foundation. If you are unfamiliar with the Factory Five ’33, it is a wolf in sheep’s clothing, or more specifically, it looks like an old hot rod and it can swallow exotic foreign cars with aplomb. With a full Ridetech suspension under this car and all of the other touches they have added, this ’33 is literally one of a kind.

To us, what is really neat about this build is the fact that Ridetech is taking a package that a dude in his home garage can build with a little skill, time, and moderate amounts of beer and really pushing it to the next level. Adding the Winters quick change rear end, rip snorting Ford mill, badder asser brakes, roll cage, and detailed metal work that, while subtle, scream awesome to the seasoned gearhead eye.

We are not sure what the debut date is scheduled to be for this one, but we cannot wait to see Bret Voelkel tearing up the autocross and road course in this baby. For fun we should try to lure some unsuspecting Italian sports car owners onto the track with it and gleefully watch the ol’  ’33 show them the way home!

We’re posting some photos below and the link to the full build galleries on Ridetech’s site!
