See if you can follow us on this one. We came across this video made by the Eastwood company that features the Double Down Ford roadster being built by Bryan Fuller Hot Rods for the Jet-Hot Company. It all makes sense, right? The Eastwood guys are promoting a metal working book that Fuller was a part of and they show that book a couple times in the video. Having seen the exquisite work that leaves his shop, Fuller sure seems like a guy you’d want to listen to or read advice from on how to shape metal and make it do what you want it to do. Outside of the book promo, we get the best video look yet at a car that we’re still slobbering over after seeing it at SEMA in person for the first time.

There have been a zillion still photos of the car on the internet since it first made a splash at the show but the beauty of the video is that it shows you the car as you’d actually look at it. You see the machine as if your own eyes were rolling over it on the show floor and to us, that brings a huge dimension to the thing. The quick change center section protruding through the front of the grill shell and the absolutely monstrous tires on the corners give this car a look like nothing we have ever seen before out of a roadster. Fuller has said that when completed the plant is to use the car at events ranging from the autocross and road course to the drags and even perhaps a trip to the salt (where they’d need to ditch those massive tires). Obviously still under construction, this is a look at the wildest ’32 roadster that we have seen in the history of ever. Heck, we didn’t even mention the Boss 429 engine in the front of it!

We’re going to keep you posted on this car but we can’t wait to see the crew from Jet Hot out in it at shows and events. We’ll come right out and say it now that all shame and self respect will by thrown to the wind when we’re near the car after it is built and we start begging for a ride like a six year old. It is going to happen, have your smart phones ready.
