Thieving Bastards Stole Our Buddy’s Mustang From Delaware — Help Us Find It!
Having stuff stolen is the pits and thieves are total bastards. One of the guys we know over at the MustangForums had his car stolen. Please read below and keep your eyes open as well as sharing this on any other sites you read.
Hello MustangForums members, HopUp28’s 2006 Ford Mustang GT police car was stolen last night in Delaware. I’m asking that MustangForums members post this everywhere that they can–including other forums and Facebook–that may be willing to help a out fellow Mustang brother. Here’s a description:
The car is totally unmarked on the driver’s side, and at the time it was stolen it had electrical tape on the passenger side door covering the words “TRAFFIC ENFORCEMENT”.  There is still glue residue on the passenger rear wheelwell from the words “DIAL 911”, and the outline for “POLICE” can still be seen on the front passenger fender.  The light stick in the rear window and the front visor LED’s inside the car are covered, but it has LED’s outside too which are mounted on the side mirrors, front fenders, and the grill.  It also has the optional 18″ fanblade wheels and Goodyear F1 tires.  Threads and pictures are being put up on various car forums and social media.  A reward will be given for information leading to the recovery of the vehicle.  You can also contact Delaware State Police Auto Theft Unit at 302-834-2630, reference complaint  #06-12-026186.
This vehicle was stolen on Papermill Road in Newark, Delaware. HopUp28 purchased the car from the Harper Woods police just two weeks ago. This car stands out against other black S197 Mustangs–especially to Mustang enthusiasts–so please help get the word out anywhere possible.

Cool car, I hope it gets recovered. Does anyone besides me find it ironic that a former police car just got stolen?
