If you haven’t seen GAC’s new Flippin’ RVs series, you are missing out! It’s awesome, and will make every hot rodder want a vintage trailer to go with his or her cool cars. The episode tonight features a few really cool trailers, but the main one is a 1964 Teardrop. Not the tear drop like you see pulled behind a ’32 Ford, we’re talking a Teardrop brand trailer. It’s awesome, and the truck the pulls it is pretty damn cool too. Plus, the folks on Flippin’ RVs build cool stuff, love vintage trailers, and there is no yelling and screaming and fake drama here. No fake “deadline” to meet or anything like that, just real people building something they can be proud of. It’s way better TV than most.

In addition to the Teardrop, this week’s Flippin’ RVs also shows a 1951 Spartan Royal Mansion which is going to be a bad ass, and the Holy Grail of trailers, the Unicorn if you will, a 1936 Bowlus! This is a trailer built entirely of metal, and is so aircraft like you won’t believe it. In fact, Bowlus is one of the guys that designed and built the Spirit of St. Louis airplane.
