Big Cars, Big Blocks, And Big Smoke: The Mopar Edition

Big Cars, Big Blocks, And Big Smoke: The Mopar Edition

The 1973 Oldsmobile whipping donuts with a thumper of a big-block woke a lot of y’all up, as it better: There is something about a big-ass boulevard cruiser at full scream that is just awesome. It’s honestly surprising you don’t see more of these cars out and about, since they can seat at least six and can be set up to be a killer tow vehicle. So because why not, let’s celebrate the big cars raising all sorts of hell…and I’ll kick off with some Mopars.

If I went all-in on a big car, no doubt I’d be looking at 1969-1970 Chryslers. The C-bodies had gotten the fuselage styling treatment and these cars wore it very well. 440’s and 727’s are the normal power plant, and in two door form these big girls are sexy, especially the Three Hundred with the hideaway headlights up front. Here’s a quick collection of videos of these cars doing what they should be doing, so turn the volume up and enjoy the sound of big-block Chrysler letting the road have it!
