Brad Edward’s Mustang Takes Flight At No Mercy 4 And Lands On The Wheels

Brad Edward’s Mustang Takes Flight At No Mercy 4 And Lands On The Wheels

One of the great small tire races in the country, the Duck X Productions No Mercy 4 is going on at South Georgia Motorsports Park in Valdosta this weekend. The action has gotten insane on the track already and it has just been testing time so far! The wildest moments of Thursday came when Brad Edwards launched his turbocharged Mustang and got it into a parachute dragging, vertical wheelstand. Edwards is doubly awesome because he had the presence of mind to actually whack the throttle when the thing was coming down to try and minimize the impact of the landing on the chassis of the car. Don’t get us wrong, it was a big smack, but seemingly a little more gentle than it would have been if he had whacked the brakes or not goosed the gas pedal.

This No Mercy event has grown from its humble roots four years ago into a real small tire brawl. Featuring several different classes of race cars, it is power adder city down there with tons of turbo machines like Edwards’ as well as nitrous and blower combos in various classes as well. Our pal Mark Walters is live streaming the event this weekend and a little later today we’re going to give you the link where you can tune in and watch this madness for yourself. One thing we can promise is that Edwards’ pass was certainly not the last absolutely mind blowing thing that’ll happen at SGMP before Sunday!
