Classic YouTube: The Myth Of The Camaro With The Giant Blower

Classic YouTube: The Myth Of The Camaro With The Giant Blower

The first time you saw it, your brain automatically dismissed it as Photoshop gone too far. It had to be…the iron lung sitting on top of the engine in this Camaro looks to be as big as the engine itself. You could tote small children around in the case, and if it was actually functional, God help any birds flying around nearby…you’d be cleaning feathers out of the combustion chambers for a week solid. It had to be a fake. Right?

Wrong. Scarily enough, that scene was completely legitimate. Mike Christensen’s father drug it home one day that they believe came off of a locomotive. After what we can only assume was a really good beer, someone decided to affix monster supercharger to an already potent Camaro. And it ran…briefly. According to Christensen, one tap of the throttle got a wheel off of the ground before both head gaskets permanently checked out. In one of their most famous clips, Urban Hillbilly Videos took a look back at the interview that sealed that red Camaro into Internet infamy.

  1. Chevy Hatin' Mad Geordie

Have you ever seen a car cry?

This poor Camaro is crying gasoline tears and seems to be saying:

“Get this huge carbuncle of my engine or I’ll turn into a Ford Mustang”

Which is kinda sweet to us Ford lovers…..
