This video is so epically bad ass that we watched it multiple times, and so will you. It’s awesome. The little GM Straight Six was running at wide open for several minutes before the video starts and is smoking pretty good when you start seeing it at wide open throttle. Part way through the video the rods start leaving the party, and the subsequent oil dump starts getting fun before catching fire, losing more rods, and getting a real inferno going. It’s a minute of awesomeness you just have to watch.
Kinda cool, but I am a “cars are people too” guy and this was like watching a slow brutal torture video of an old soldier….IMHO

This was a rehearsal for a large scale destruction of LS motors – complete with the cars they are fitted to and with the owners chained to the steering wheels..
Reminds me of a 318 Chrysler motor we were assigned to destroy at our Chevy dealership for the cash for clunkers deal. 2 hours of full throttle and 4 cans of stop leak in the oil and it would not die. Finally it moaned and slowly died off. Next morning it fired right up. We wished it well and walked away, sad we had tortured that ol pick up. Incidentally, Geordie, all the Chevy`s were easy to kill off.
