Video: Baja Off-Road Action From The San Felipe 250 That Shows A Different Side Of Baja

We are all used to seeing Trophy Trucks flying over whoops, and throwing big rooster tails of dust as they haul ass through Baja for the San Felipe 250, Baja 500, or Baja 1000. And we’re used to seeing the booby traps and crazy stunts that fans will perform in order to either crash vehicles or be the crazy guy that reaches out and touches one. But this video shows the crazy and uncontrollable side of Baja that I hadn’t seen before.

Watch as spectators, amateur photographers, and videographers stand in “no man’s land” while race trucks and buggies weave their way in between them. I can’t imagine what in must be like to be one of the drivers, trying not to run people over, or what it must be like trying to dart between them like a life size game of Frogger. It’s cool, but it’s crazy.

And yes, we want to go and be these guys. Driver and spectator. Hell, it’s why we would LOVE to make the $200 Hauler into a bad ass prerunner.

Anyway, watch and enjoy.

  2. Anthony Castillo

The person at GarFox 11 who put that “music” under that footage needs to be run over by several Trophy Trucks! I had to turn the sound off after less than a minute. Caunck said it, those are some idiots all right.
