Morning Symphony: Shouting The Arrival Of The Dawn With An Ex-SuperStars Mercedes!

At low speeds this monster sounds like a locomotive trying to get going, with the gears whining and the engine thumping out a percussive low bass. At speed these ex-SuperStars Mercedes C63s sound absolutely unholy, like a tank a full revs or (dare I say it) a screaming musclecar. The standard cars sold to the public were lively enough as they were…TopGear referred to it as “an axe murderer with headlights” because it was violent, loud, only just on the fringe edge of being controlled, and very intolerant of stupidity…unless that stupidity involved hanging the back end out like an LS-swapped Nissan covered in stickers, anyways. Take that car, then, add gumball tires, hack off whatever sound suppression the exhaust may have ever had, throw on the typical SuperStars aero kit, and send it around the track. You don’t suppose that some of the old-school Mopar tastes might have taken hold in some sections of Mercedes, do you? Because as low and as snotty as that Merc sounds, you’d swear that in their spare time, the sound engineers were analyzing the sounds of 440 Six Pack cars just a bit too much.
