Sean Melton and his crew at Urban Hillbilly Videos were really trailblazers in door car drag racing video coverage. They were there “before it was cool” and have been pumping out awesome DVDs for years. Recently they put a 12-minute video up on YouTube of crashes, wheelstands, and carnage galore. It is one of the best videos of this type we have ever seen. 

One of the most awesome sequences starts right around 2:30 and it was filmed at the World Power Wheelstanding Championships at Byron Dragway a while back. The car is a vehicle that Urban Hillbilly sponsored and it was designed to do exactly what it did. Go up and stay up until it crashed back down to Earth, slid on its side for a couple hundred feet and got a massive reaction from the crowd. Pay attention to the in-car part of that video, as it is amazing. The driver, while the car is still sliding on the driver’s door, unbuckles and rolls down the window, AS THE CAR IS STILL SLIDING!
