Would it be wrong or insulting to the Rodfather if Chad were to become known as the Chadfather? D I S C U S S
With that beard thing, I would rather have expected “The Convoy Kidd”.
I was at the Sapp Brothers Travel Centre just east of Cheyenne Wy when this crowd went through there. We had seen a steady stream of hot-rods along the I-80 all morning.
The 80 and then the 25 are part of our regular “once every two weeks” route now, we (my wife and I and our Volvo Truck) do just over 9000 miles in 9 days in both the US and Canada, then go home for 5.
Anyhow, I’d just taken on fuel, washed the windshield and was just pulling out of the parking area and onto the street, when this fellow pulls in front of me, with his little hot-rod cutting me off in the process. I stamp my brakes and toot my quiet horn (There’s the beep beep electric horn and the air-horn) Buddy looks over his shoulder, flips me the bird and rolls into the automobile side gas pumps.
What an effing trooper.
Then car behind him, another hot-rod, stops, driver gets out, walks up to my window and when I roll it down, he apologises for the asshole in front (who he doesn’t even know) wishes me a safe trip and holds traffic so I can get out safely.
It takes all kinds doesn’t it?
