This little bastard is awesome. It gives me lumber. I want to drive it. And after you watch this video, so will you. While searching for some drag radial video I found this great video from the guys at fullBOOST.com.au of this ultra bitchin crew cab Mazda RX3 in Australia making lap after lap on its way to mid 9 second ETs. It’s Rotary powered of course, is a stick, does killer burnouts and big boy wheelstands, so what is not to like? Trust me you have to check out this video. It not only shows the car from outside, but also inside, including some lane swapping antics after a giant DOUBLE wheelstand.

Those drag cars that follow the formula of “Rotary + little ’70s Japanese RWD car + ton of boost” are pretty scary, but a lot of fun to watch. The short wheelbase, often a relatively high CG, and ton of power seems to make for more dragstrip drama than anything short of a Fuel Altered.
love the way he shoulder checks to see if there’s any other traffic coming before steering back into his lane.
Yeeeesssss, I love a Rotary. These old skoolers are very cool, particularly when they run low tens. They’re built like miniature Muscle cars, tough, live axle then making maaaad power.
That’s just crazy cool.
Tora! Tora! Tora!
ran division 7 back in the late 70’s early 80’s!
Sweet ride
