The Year In Review From Fullboost: Fire, Speed And Power From The Land Down Under

It’s that time again, when everybody starts to dig through their footage, photos and stories to unearth what surely is the best of the year. It’s the beautiful thing of the age we live in nowadays: everything from what goes on when a few cars get together on some backroad to the top-tier level events is covered seven ways from Sunday. In the States, we have it easy. In Australia, where being a gearhead tends to be considered something to be ashamed of (especially if you listen to the local news affiliates), the laws and legal ramifications basically mean that the only way footage can be shot with no issues is to shoot at events, and the crew at Fullboost have been hard at it since the year rolled over. While it’s winter while we’re having our big festivals over here, they don’t have to deal with the weather near as much as we do…in fact, you’d be pretty much spot-on if you assumed that there was not an “off” season for gearheads down there. This year’s compilation is thorough and solid, from stomper V8s that can torment even the best slick to some of the highest strung rotary mills screaming like a chainsaw on nitrous in the middle of cutting through a Douglas fir. Thank you, guys, and we will be looking forward to 2017’s footage!
