As we sadly know, the killer suede-black 1957 of Jeff Lutz fell out of Hot Rod Drag Week 2009 yesterday, Wednesday, September 17. However, it’s not like the Unlimited class racer did not put on a great show and make a very serious effort before that happened. And the car did drive on public roads about 400 miles overall, impressive for a street car that can make a pass like this 7.80 seen from the Tuesday Drag Week racing in Martin, Michigan. Check it out.
