Well, this is certainly a swap we never saw coming. This Subaru WRX, which formerly was sporting a flat four, is now packing some very healthy sounding GM LSX V8 motorvation. There’s nothing sleeper about this car. It’s loud as hell, but man, showing up to the import drags would be a bucket of fun!
The underside shots of the car seem to indicate that it is now a 2WD setup instead of the factory 4WD system. Who the hell cares, right? But what made us wince is the factory differential and half shafts. Yeah, those are going to be shattered like bone China in no time. The first couple launches before the four-link-and-9-inch swap will rule, though.
We can’t wait to see ths beast in action!
